More than 80 people (almost 50 of them kids!) met at Polk Avenue Elementary after school on Monday for our second Easter Celebration and Egg Hunt! Children from Polk Avenue’s Faith Finders Club and First Pres joined together to make resurrection eggs that tell the story of Jesus, complete a scavenger hunt for Easter eggs, pick out some fun prizes, and eat a family dinner in the cafeteria. A BIG thank you to our host, Polk Avenue Elementary School, and all of the volunteers and donors that helped to make this special event such a success! And coming soon… Join First Pres Kidz next month for a celebration of Cinco de Mayo!
